IRIS Indoor 3D Acoustic Measurement System
Measures room impulse responses using an Ambisonic microphone for 3D sound field visualization.
[ Ambisonic Mic Array ][ 3D Impulse Response ][ VR/AR Export ]
Overview
Measures room impulse responses using a first-order Ambisonic microphone array, presenting arriving sound rays as colored 3D spikes for intuitive room acoustics diagnostics. One of the few systems capable of complete spatial acoustic analysis.
Key Features
- IRIS diagram: spike direction = sound ray arrival direction; length = intensity; color = arrival time
- Click on impulse response waveform to pinpoint corresponding rays — quickly identify problematic reflection surfaces
- Observe early/late energy directional distribution to identify problematic wall surfaces
- Export 3D impulse responses for VR/AR spatial reconstruction
- Supports Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic
