Overview

Measures room impulse responses using a first-order Ambisonic microphone array, presenting arriving sound rays as colored 3D spikes for intuitive room acoustics diagnostics. One of the few systems capable of complete spatial acoustic analysis.

  • IRIS diagram: spike direction = sound ray arrival direction; length = intensity; color = arrival time
  • Click on impulse response waveform to pinpoint corresponding rays — quickly identify problematic reflection surfaces
  • Observe early/late energy directional distribution to identify problematic wall surfaces
