Overview

Designed to protect permanent or temporary sensitive sites, the ground-based PILAR is a modular and scalable system configurable with 1 to 20 acoustic arrays — the number of arrays depends on the area to be covered.

Key Features

  • Provides GPS localization of threats with azimuth, elevation, and range output
  • Applications: forward operating bases, border control, embassies, VIP events (G7, military parades)
  • Multi-array versions (8/16/20) can monitor areas up to 1.5 km²
  • Can be combined with PIVOT observation turret for automatic pointing and live video when gunfire is detected
